Sardinia Recommendations?

Where is snorkeling spots in Sardinia ?

Any recommendations on B&B, or self catering close to agood snorkeling /diving spot? Beach entry?

I like the snorkelling around La Madellena and particularly the adjoining island of Caprera. Sardinia is not a small place so if you are staying in Cagliari this would be a long, long way to go. Generally there is enjoyable snorkelling in most areas. The G8 summit is in La Madellena this year - so avoid going there at that time.

Even the shallowest waters can provide interesting subject matter:

Most of the better divesites tend to be around off-shore islands and seccas (secce?). Thinking about it, I have never shore dived in Sardinia.

I see what you mean with interesting subject matter

Excellent photos , underwater topography looks barren though .

Is it more suited for maco ,it looks like yo had your work cut out with models etc to make the wide angle scenes work?

You'll see from their website that they also offer snorkelling trips and they have an excellent hotel that guests stay at.
