Epoque Wide Angel - Any Comments ?

I've just been speaking to someone at Cameras Underwater (UK Camera store) and they told me that the Epoque wide angle lens (available for Olympus housings, Aquatica 995 and Ikelites coolpix 995 housing) is slightly wider than the S&S wide angle.

He also says that it is cheaper, gives similar optical quality and that any barrel distortion is sorted underwater.

Does anyone know anything about this lens ? Is it any good ? Anyone shot any pictures with it ?

Not a comment on the lens, but I just heard that Epoque USA is history.

Evidently they will still operate in Japan (don't know about the UK), but this does not bode well for those here that bought Epoque strobes etc.
