    I am hoping so :bye:

Realistically given the stills features, it seems to be a much better fit for someone that primarily shoots video but has needs for some stills, than someone mainly focused on stills but needs occasional video.

I usually shoot video but I want from time to time to get high-quality stills of wrecks for magazine articles. They dont need to be "contest winners" but do need ideally to be better quality than stills from my HDV camera, so this looks like the perfect solution for my case.

I ain't falling for that. Nope, no way. Been waiting too long :bye:

  4. One of the things that makes me question the "hybrid camera" concept for video work is the fact that depth of field decreases with increasing sensor size. This isn't an issue for the still photo side of things...but it could make video focusing somewhat more difficult...

  5. Call me a technophobe, but I just don't 'get' Red. Everytime I get interested I head off to the Red sites where I just seem to get into a cold sweat, start shaking and have to reboot my computer from brain overload. Does it have that effect on anyone else or am I just weird?

    Cheers, Simon
