Spring is springing ...

  1. I've been using the Nikon 70-200mm VR with a 1.7x TC and Canon 500D diopter to do close-ups and am pretty happy with how the combination performs.

Here's a few from an early morning walkabout the other day ... I love the transitional time when you can still get a bit of frost on top of new growth ...

    Enjoy!

  2. Nice, I like the first two.

  3. Nice, I like the first two.

Thanks! I like those two the best as well ... the "greens" are very soothing and really capture the mood of the forest as I saw it at the time.

Of the two, which do you prefer? I'm gonna print one of the two.

I think I like the square one (#2) better.

  4. Nice Jeremy. My camera club is going to the Bronx Botanical Gardens on Sat. to shoot the orchids. I hope something is blooming outside too. I love going out after work in the spring and shooting flowers. I won Image of the Year last year in beginner class with one of those shots.

Yes I like #2, the composition grabs my attention better than #1
