Liveaboards from Singapore

  1. Can anyone personally recommend any Liveaboards that leave from Singapore? I can find a few on the internet but we all now that quality can vary from the promises on the websites so I was hoping for some recommendations from personal experience. I look forward to hearing from you!

  2. The White Manta is the only one I've ever taken and it's ok. Decent ensuite cabins, EAN. This was before the refit in 07. I think I jumped on 04 or 05. Did the Anambas/7 Skies wreck. Not really worth the time imho but for many expats in Singapore that's as good as it gets for the time strapped.

  3. The nicest boat is Black Manta, same company as White Manta. It's comfortable and very stable.

Diving on week-end trips from Singapore is decent, but can't compare to the best of Indonesia - However there are nice wrecks, decent reefs, and if you are lucky and visit at the right time of the year (October or March) you can even see whale sharks and mantas
