Seatool flat port and Inon wet mount close-up lenses

  1. Is there away that the Inon close-up lens can be mounted in fromt of the Seatool flat ports which house the 60mm and 105mm Nikkor lenses?

If possible, what is needed for it and secondly does it have to be the threaded or the buoynet Inon lenses?

    Thanks

  2. Hi Ryan

Thanks for the feedback. Its sometimes quite difficult to work out with part can be used with what;)

I am not sure but I think I also once saw an adaptor which screws into this on and then allows you to use the buoynet type lenses. Does not sound familiar?

How does this adaptor stay in place?

And have you had feedback from people that used this configuration, the Inon wet lens with the 60mm Nikkor. How was the picture qaulity and corner sharpness?

    Thanks

    Geo

  3. We have an Inon AD -> 46mm adapter. You could step that up to 67 if you wanted.

I wouldn't suggest a diopter with the 60, although people do it. I find the working distance to be far too short. I've never tested UCL-165AD but I routinely shoot UCL-165 M67 w/ a 105, and the corners are extremely sharp. There is more CA than you'd have with an achromat, though.

This adapter is a friction fit.
