  1. I am having eartrouble and have found a solution in the Dryear(.net) Sahara. But i cant find any dealers i europe except one in the UK and they wont sell it to me because of the big bad economic crysis.

I´m sad and my ears are wet...

  2. Hi Mads,

This is an interesting product. I can suffer from 'otitis externa' a lot unless I use 50/50 mix of isopropyl alchohol and white wine vinegar after each dive and Gentacin antibiotic solution at the end of the day... The Dryear seem a far more benign solution, if it works.

I'm going to call them to discuss and when I do, should I talk to them about why they won't ship to Denmark, presumably against confirmed credit card payment?

  3. That would be great. i placed an order of 3 dryers(not the onlly one with problems)

If its as good as their HP says then its bye bye earproblems... and alot easier the filling our ears with vinegar... :turtle:

  4. By the way Timmoranuk.. Thank you for offering to help me..

  5. Hi, my friends Tom and Kay just turned me on to the ear dryer and I love it. Also use Doc's Pro Plugs vented, red/clear for scuba. You will be amazed at the difference. Scott ps. my family is from denmark

  6. I some times see them at dive shows - LIDS, DEMA, etc..........

  7. Mads, the UK supplier of Dryear do not have any stock and due to the poor $ / £ exchange do not plan to import any more until it improves. Your option would be to import directly from the US. Hope this helps, Tim

  8. Thank you for helping out Tim. Ill just go for cpix´s link. It´s a danish import-site. might work....?

When i have tried it out i will post at little review.

Thanks cpix for taking the time to help out.

  9. Just get married, you'll get so much ear-ache from the Mrs you wont even worry about wet ears anymore :D

*Disclaimer: I'm only going off stories from friends, but i'm not going to name names :turtle:

  10. Just a thought... In the absence of an Ear Dryer, maybe these ( http://www.proplugs.com/ ) will help. I'm going to give then a try.

  11. <snip> I use 50/50 mix of isopropyl alchohol and white wine vinegar after each dive and Gentacin antibiotic solution at the end of the day...

I use a similar solution (pun). First make a saturate solution of boric acid in alcohol and dilute 50/50 with vinegar. Treatment will kill bugs and dry out the ear canal. Also, it removes wax and a protective barrier for the tissue. Follow the cleaning with a gentle swabbing (Qtip) of the canal with sweet oil (olive) to restore a barrier.
