    Shark for food: Europe a major culprit

    LARGELY unknown to the world, Europe has been catching sharks by the millions, making it the major global supplier of shark as a food product. Europe now intends to reduce its shark catch, so there will be fewer shark fins for Asian consumption.

    Oh well, I guess the day that Singapore protects sharks will never come, with this guy at the helm...

  2. Thank you for posting, I have known for some years of EU countries being the biggest exporter of Shark Fins, and the recent law changes are a step in the right direction however more pressure needs to be applied.
