In praise of sea hares

Hi folks

Was at one of my fave dive spots this weekend- and the site was literally full of sea hares- Aplysia punctata (?)

I think it was mating season- they were everywhere and doing everything!!

Naturally I did me best to try and capture a few.

Despite tons of messing around- here are some of the 'better' shots??

They should be called sea cows- 'cause they remind me more of cows than hares.

Mind u- I think Id rather foto come of Cal's 'sea bunnys

The green water background in the last one really works. Composition and lighting on the first one makes it my favourite.

Nice sea hares, we have them too here in California, and sometimes we see them in large numbers. they can get over 2ft long here, btw.
