Wanted: Underwater Videographer for hire on artist project

1 posts
  1. I am an artist working in a number of medium and media.

The weekend of may 9th I am planning a project that requires some underwater video. the outline:

artist and object- conversation, conflict, desire...

i have cast a life sized solid glass inner tube that is to be placed at the bottom of an old black bottomed pool. (the pool is lovely, slight patina from age, sun dappled in the afternoon, etc). I (as artist/performer) will interact with the object underwater- tug, yell, coo, caress, plead, etc. only at the end to swim away, defeated. metaphors, metaphors...

i would like to hire an underwater videographer to shoot the project. ideally you have your own camera and lights. my budget is limited.

amateurs, semi-pros and those just getting started are welcome to contact me (as well as anyone else of course).

The location is in Essex Fells, NJ 07021, 40 min from NYC and 1.5 hours from Philly.

feel free to call or write with any inquiries.

    cheers.

    susie
