Yellowhead Jawfish Incubates Eggs

Two years looking at Yellowhead Jawfish waiting to run across one incubating eggs. Sunday, there he was (yes it is a he - the male incubates the eggs in jawfish breeding)

I was so happy :-)

Many more in this series can be seen at Yellowhead Jawfish Galleries at DSI

Enjoy,

Cool - patience can be fruitfull!

Well done! Congrats.

Incredible !

Great shots!

Are you using a rebreather or how long did you had to hold your breath before taking the shot?

I usualy have trouble shooting blennys with normal scuba gear.

Excellent shots! What lens were you using? the Nikkor 105mm?

I hate you!!!! I've been trying to get that shot for 16 years.

But congratulations, those really are stunning photographs.

And I don't hate you, but I do envy you!

Where did you find this guy?

Great shots! What a great find !
