Video on a camera

Basically, what you're gonna hear is... "you get what you pay for".
I've seen some guys get 30 second clips that look great on the little viewfinder. If you just want some video to post to your youTube account then it will probably work out great and save thousands of dollars. I would suggest getting a filter for it. If you want to go deeper into it, then you can add a light as well, but that doesn't sound like what you're after. Obviously, if you want to be Jean-Michel Cousteau in HD, yer not gonna get it..
Lastly, if you have an addictive personality and a thing for cameras, I suggest you have your significant other hold onto your credit cards for you.... What kind of camera are you looking at? I'm sure a quick search will find some of the more popular POS's on Wetpixel if you are interested.
