For Sale:
Subal 6” glass dome port with front and rear cover.
The glass has no scratches, the port itself has seen use but is in fine shape. I used this dome on old (15 years ago?) Subal housings for Nikon N90 cameras. This should fit all Subal housings up and including Subal 3rd generation (will not fit the very new wider 4th generation that are just coming out). You will need to buy and put in a newer, thicker O-ring that Subal recommends for 3rd generation ports.
This 6" dome is ideal for wide- and medium-angle zooms and primes that focus down to 6” by themselves or with diopters. I personally used this with 24-28mm lenses in 35mm film housings, but this dome can be used with both full frame & cropped sensor cameras. This dome is the equivalent of Subal's DP-SWB/3 domes being sold for $715.
If you are interested, please contact Norbert Wu at temp1@norbertwu.com. Please no phone calls. I am placing this at $399 but am happy to entertain other offers. I can accept Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and personal checks will have to clear my bank before the product is shipped; which can take up to two weeks. Shipping will be at my cost and will be UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (all of which give tracking of packages). If we conclude a deal, I'll give you a quote for shipping via one of the above methods.
Thanks.
