Equinox Releases new housings for...

Equinox has released new housings for the Canon HV40, HFS 10 and HFS100, as well as, Sony XR 100/200, XR 500/520 and CX 100. I am new to Wetpixel and look forward to meeting and talking with the membership here. If there is anyway I can be of assistance or you just have good stories to share, I look forward to getting to know you all!

Thank you for the announcement. We are interested in an Equinox Pro-6 to house a Canon Video FS11 camera. Can you confirm that the problem with rusty screws due to a manufacturer cutting corners, that was on the forum about one year ago, has been fixed?

Yes, tens of thousands of screws go out each year and unfortunately there were a couple bad ones that we received. Our three year warranty will cover this in the event that it were to happen again. We have not had any problems regarding the screws since that time. Thank you for your question and I look forward to assisting you in the future.

It's really a question as to which camera model you have. We can do white balance on most consumer video cameras, but there are certain models that we can not. If you let me know what type of camcorder you have I can let you know right away. If we can do it, the housing would be sent with the extra control. Thank You!
