Me , Jono (a local photographer) and Annika went down to Crystal Creek (where the toad shots are from).
I wanted to try use the underwater world as a compositional element in a shoot rather then the sole feature. I also wanted to try and tell a story through a photo.
I know this is way out there as far as underwater photography goes but It was great fun doing the shoot (minus the mosquitoes).
**insert creepy music here**
But dont worry! She's alive and well
Hope you liked these different and alternative shots!
Cheers

The only thing that's missing from the Blair Witch effect is the shaking.

Really like this one! Shows enough from beneath but still leaves some room for imagination.
And Your ideas are very very interesting - keep it coming!
Cal, that first photo is un-real. Very spooky and disturbing. You captured something with that one. Great photo.

haha I'm going to be become a crazy eccentric underwater photographer
It's great to get some feedback on these as I was a bit unsure of whether to post them or not
Cheers guys!
Cal
wow .... very very clever idea and very well executed!
I like them a lot.
Cal your star is rising faster everyday...that first shot is excellent...you can feel the eery creepiness just looking at it!!
"Cal your star is rising faster everyday" at some point it will reach critical velocity and then plummet back to earth in a fiery ball of photographic failure
But thanks! that means a lot to me :-)
Glad you enjoyed them!
Cal
Hey Cal,
I have to ask. Where did you hide the image that is the first one of the triple in your new signature? I can't find it on your redbubble page or website.
Just teasing us?
Steve
