Blue Heron red crab

Please assist me in identifying this 5-7 cm crab found at Blue Heron Bridge May 10, 2008. The crab was located at the East span in 18 fsw near the SW most pillar. Water temperature was 79 F at 10:40 AM.

Thank you.

Bob

I think you'll find that one in Humann & DeLoach lumped with several others as unidentified majids or decorator crabs. It's pretty hard to figure out what they are when the legs are covered by sponges.
