strobes for 5dmrk 2

I have been a top side pro photographer for a while recently got into the amazing world of underwater photography, have just ordered a aquatica housing just any advice on strobes is welcome looking at a ys 250 to start then hopefully add another when the budget allows,If anyone has any experience on this strobe appreciated eg pros and cons.or open to other configurations.

A few things to consider when strobe shopping, especially if you do much dive travel. You probably already know this stuff, so this is just a reminder (based on your primary subjects).

Light output & recycle time requirements (possible specs for over-kill)

Size & wt of strobe (airlines getting more strict on wt limits)

Type of battery used - AA, proprietary, etc (proprietary is usually costly & only available from limited sources)

I've seen lots of guys with huge strobes mostly shooting macro. They complain about wt limits on planes, don't have a spare, etc. Lots of good strobes to choose from. Just be selective for your needs. And remember spares - stuff happens.
