new subal D300 housing

hello all,

I bought a new subal housing for D300, subal ND300,

the dome port that i bought is the DP-FE4, i think the difference is the way to attach the dome

if i have another dome, like DP-FE2, it wil fit?

Not without some sort of adaptor. I have the Subal ND30 with FE4 dome port, and preciously owned a Subal ND20. The mount on the FE4 is larger in diameter than the FE2.

I've got the ND30 too - and really like it.

The difference is, I understand the size of the port opening. The DP-FE4 is wider than the DP-FE2. So it depends on which version of the ND30 you have as to which size of port is required. Presumably if your dealer sold you a DP-FE4 you have the wider throated ND30.

i have the new subal housing, is now called ND300, new logo i guess...

but if the DP-FE4 have different size of port, all the other ports must be different also...

and the "old" ones, d'ont fit?

Both the FE2 and FE3 ports are essentially the same. Only FE4 or 4th generation as is sometimes called features larger port diameter and is only available among Subal's newer housings - Nikon D300 being one of them.
