Looking through the forums it seems most Canon people that uses FE uses the Canon one. The Sigma is newer though, and a bit more expensive. Have anyone tried em both, and come to any conclusion of what to get? The Sigma clearly says its diagonal fisheye, whereas the Canon one doesnt specify. Do they both have the same FOV? This is for my FF 5dmkII btw.

Come on folks, someone has to have an opinion on this?

I've tried both, went with the Sigma, was cheaper. IQ pretty much identical, the Sig focuses closer than the Canon. Both were tried on the 5D

I think there was another thread here on Wetpixel of this exact subject... Maybe the thread could be found with a quick search?
I asked the same question a few months ago.
nodoby here can tell the difference.
So far, I went for the Sigma one, because it focus closer, because the canon AF make a lot of noise, and because the canon protection fall all the time, according to what I've read.
I'm happy with the Sigma on a 5d2, really great lense
I only did a quick (10 minutes) dive with it so far, as I don't have time for more diving these days, I can give you 3 differents exemples :
