Sabah Pics - Flickr Test too

  1. Have uploaded (and posted to the Wetpixel Flickr Group) a bunch of shots taken last weekend in sunny Sabah.

Hope I get the syntax right after a few glasses of wine! Hopefully a picture will show in this message....

  3. Great turtle shot!

Just a hint, if you go to your Flickr account setup, profile page I think, there's somewhere you can select 'how your Flickr page is named'. This will let you make your Flickr link something like www.flickr.com/photos/pxguru, instead of the ####@N04/... type 'generic' link.

Also looks like your tags got separated into separates, e.g. "©", "2009", first and last name. Remember when tagging with spaces to use quotes, e.g. tagging "scuba diving" will keep it together as one tag vs. 2 separate ones.

Nice gallery overall - I'm jealous!

  4. Very nice. I particularly liked a couple of the shrimp ones. BTW there are about 5 of them in the set twice !

    Take care.

  5. Thanks for the tips..as a "Flickr Virgin" I appreciate it...

  6. Thanks for sharing. I too have had trouble making the Flickr code work on Wetpixel (I think I've understood the problem in the instructions pinned to the galleries page, but I still haven't sat down to make it work).

    I really liked your crustaceans.

Thanks Tim... I'm not sure its clear from the pinned thread that there should be no spaces between ceratin commands ie [/img] The graphic display makes it look as if there could/should be spaces (or maybe its just me eyes). In teh end I pasted the example code onto thepage and then my flickr code and edited to make them look identical, thats how I got the right code finalised, then obviously deleted the dummy code.

May try again in the improvement forum as my WA work still sucks.

    Cheers
