Bayonet mount to 67mm. thread?

5 posts
  1. Hi!

So I'm planning to buy Inon UFL-165AD Fisheye lens.

But I'm wondering how can I attach it to my 67mm. thread Ikelite port?

This lens has bayonet mount, so is there some adapter I need to buy as well?

Could not quite figure it out

    Cheers

    Karel

I'm pretty sure that inon makes an adaptor. Try uwdigitalcamera.com

  4. Thanks for Your input Seafan.

I actually got information from Reef and Photo, that this might not be compatible with G9 in ike housing:

R&P: "The lens is a small diameter, designed for 'pocket' cameras. Because of the way that the G9 lens element moves when zoomed wide I think the vignetting would be totally unacceptable."

Just a bit of information for other G9 owners out there..

    Cheers

    Karel

  5. I don't think there is such a thing. However I built my own and use it with my Ikelite housed Canon 570 and my Inon 165 fisheye lens, works fine. And here it is mounted up:

I doubt it would work with the G9 or G10, they just don't work well for wide angle photography due to their lens design and large diameter objective element. To bad huh.
