This looks like a nice strobe and the size especially makes it very attractive to me. I don't want a big rig.
My intended use will be to stick it on my current old point & shoot (single preflash). Later on I will be upgrading to a better point & shoot, probably Canon or S&S. My home waters are murky and green, so even if I get a wide-angle lens I won't be expecting awesome shots with a single mid-level strobe.
I can't find any real reviews on the Inon S-2000 though... any leads? Opinions?
Also, is Inon out of the US market now? Anyone know what their warranty policy is like... do I need to authorized dealer for warranty coverage in case I find a deal on ebay?
Thanks for any input.

I have been using S-2000 for few diving trip now & is a good, small & strong strobe
& it work as advertised. I believe Z-240 is G.N.24 strobe & S-2000 is about G.N. 20.
Re warranty, Inon is NOT out of warranty as far as I know & shop like REEF PHOTO
sells Inon strobes & do warranty like any other strobe you buy(which means they
will fix/help you if you have minor issue and/or send strobe to OEM for repair).
Sam
Thanks, Sam. Good to know.
Have you been using the wireless TTL feature? I'm interested in any other thoughts you may have too.
