  1. Is this a White "V"? It seems to be very faint. Any opinions? CephBase seems to be out of order.

  2. Marli, the White V is usually at the end of the octopus head and is very distinct. I can barely see the V in your pic. If you do an enlarged crop of the body, it'll be much easier to confirm... although not definitively so :)

  3. The V is more like a U and is faint, even when the octopus darkened:

     

     

     

     

     

     

    So, if not a White V, then ????????
