  1. I bought this lens today thinking (and I use the word loosely) that it would be an option with an Ikelite 8" dome. Imagine my chagrin when I learned that the diameter is too large. I'm sure it would work fine with some other port brands... and it is designed for full-format cameras. I thought I was buying this for my future D700 -- but plan to stick with Ike housings.

It really is completely brand-spanking new, with 6-year warranty and everything you get in the new box. I didn't even put it on my own camera. I bought it on impulse for a very good price at a store that's closing up, but really can't use it as intended and I could use the money elsewhere. If no sale here, I'll put it on ebay. New retail was $1299, and you can find it new for $900. This is a lot of glass for $600 new. I haven't taken photos of it and the box yet, but can certainly do that and post.

I sometimes sell audio gear on ebay under seller name tubino, so you can check my feedback there.
