  1. 4 of us flew to Bali from los angeles for just over a week of Gado-gado, sarangs, and great diving.

We visited padang bai, nua penida (via boat from padang bai), amed and Tulamben, and filled our memory cards many times. Mantas, jacks, barracudas, and dozens of nudibranch species let to very good times. We perfected the underwater call "Nudies.. Alert.. Nudies.. Alert..", saying it many times to each other.

It was my 3rd time to bali, but it was just as enjoyable as ever. I was overjoyed to be able to show around my 3 friends, all bali first-timers.

After diving we filled up on banana pancakes and Bintang on many occasions.

Conditions and weather were perfect, except for some strong currents at Nusa Penida. We even lucked out and were able to dive the famous "tepekong canyon", but the large mola I saw there 2 years ago was somewhere else.

Feel free to visit my Bali underwater photo gallery, I hope you enjoy the shots.
