Is there a location or event in the US where you can see/hold/compare D90 housings?
I am interested in comparing Ikelite, Aquatica and Nexus housings. It would be nice to make that comparison at one place, if that is possible.

Well probably not in Kansas...
But if you get to Florida, you could make a pretty good comparison at Reef Photo. If you get to California, I'd try Backscatter.
I'm sure there are some shops I'm missing so feel free to chime in.
Cheers

If you find a place with a good return policy, buy them all and compare at home. I'm here in S.Fla and REEF photo has most subal housings as well as ikelite and nexus.
In key largo stephen frink has all the seacam stuff
Go for Nexus or Aquatica housing.... u never need to release yr hand when u changing yr S/speed or F-stop even focus also.....i personally like Nexus so much............

I'm close to getting a Nexus for my D90 because I like the fiberoptic strobe cables so much, and a Nexus housing means I can keep using my old Inon D2000 type 2. The research I've done looks like people are happy with Ikelite, Aquatica and Nexus housings for D90s, although some people say the build quality of the Ikelite is lower and that it's bulkier.
You might also want to consider Patima housings if they're available -- they have a D90 housing that seems similar to the Aquatica and is sometimes a little cheaper. Subal and Hugyfot also make some pricier housings for the D90. There was a price and volume comparison chart somewhere for 9 different D90 housings, but google can't seem to locate it right now.

Reef Photo is not a dealer for either Aquatica or Nexus.

I was all pumped about Patima housing for the D90 until I learned their housing does not work with the Tokina 10-18 fisheye. Their setup for zoom gears will not match up according to Reef Photo. From all I read, everyone raves about this lens and if I spend the $$ for a housing, I want to have a chance to use that lens. I do really like the option of fiberoptic connections and that has me leaning away from Aquatica and toward Nexus.
