  1. be used with the Seatool ND300 housing and the SLPM-95 port. I know i won't be able to use the full range of the lens, i know i won't be able to use the full range of the lens, I would like to know if it will physically fit?

    Thanks

I believe the SLPM-95 is a flat port for the Nikkor 60 and 18-70 lenses. I shoot the Sigma 17-70 in a 170 dome port. It will vinette in my 60 (diam. ~ 100 mm) port. As best I can recall the Nikkor zoom lens is the shortest around mid range and extends at the wide and telly end. The Sigma zoom is the shortest at 17 and the longest at 70. You may want to consider the Sigma 18-50. Its zoom is about 2.5 cm shorter and would work in my 60 flat port.

You need to check with a Seatool dealer or someone who shoots a Seatool like Craig.

I use the Canon non-HSM version of the lens in my Seatool 40D housing. There is a special wide flat port for it that I use, along with an extension ring. I would recommend that you contact Reef Photo -- they have tried just about every combination there is with the Seatool housings . . .

  4. Ditto,

Ryan at Reef Photo is the Seatool guru :nea:

I am using non-HSM version of this lens with my ND300 housing, 170 dome port and 30mm mount base+20mm extension. I am able to use the range of 17-60.
