Sardine run pics from Pescador Island in the Philippines

  1. Hi, I am staying at the Kasai Village Resort in Moalboal, and am enjoying it quite a bit. One of the highlights is the excellent diving around Pescador Island, a 20 minute boat ride from the resort. The sardines are amazing, so I thought I would post some highlights.

  5. Do you know whether the sardines are regular and reoccurring? I was at Moalboal approximately this time last year and didn't see that or hear anything about it. You've got me curious about it now.

The dive guides at Kasai Village said that they have been there for a very long time. They are always around Pescador Island, but this year, they are right at the island. I am not sure if they are seasonal, but I will check that out, too. - Erwin

    Hi Mike,

So far, I have only seen one (very well fed) 2.5m white tip shark.
