question about Tokina 11-16mm f2.8..in Sea and Sea

I shoot a Nikon D50 in a Sea and Sea housing with the NX Dome
In hopes for a bit faster lens and bit faster/better auto focus acquisition in natural light on deepish wrecks, I wanted to consider the Tokina 11-16 as a replacement for the Nikon 12-24mm f4 I currently use.
Will the 11-16 work with this rig as is? or will there be extensions or diopters involved?
and can I use the zoom ring for the 12-24 on the Tokina? Sea and Sea doesn't seem to offer anything for this lens on their site.
any info would be greatly appreciated...
thx in advance
ok....how about any speculation? ;-)
here is a comparison photo between the two lenses from Ken Rockwell's site....they look pretty darn close....

Ikelite recommends the same extension for each lens, and the same clamp. A +2 diopter is recommended for the 12-24, but not for the 11-16mm.
How that translates Im not sure, as there may be tolerance differences. But you seem to be in the ballpark.
