Does a comprehensive Nexus ports list exist?

7 posts
  1. Does anyone know of a site (or has a document) that has a comprehensive list of ports for Nexus/Anthis housings for Nikon dSLR's? I seem to be using multiple incomplete lists to find all of the information I want and of course the lists disagree with each other in some instances - it's starting to do my head in. Hopefully somewhere there is one very comprehensive list that covers all the ports needed from Tokina 10-17 Fisheye right through the collection to Sigma 180mm macro.

  2. Try this;

    Go to www.google.com & select 'translator' & do 'Japanese' to 'English' & go to "http://www.anthis.co.jp".

    You have to know what size of port you have first (M5,M6 or M4) & you can find latest information.

    or you can post type of housing & camera and lens here & ask information you need.

  3. Sam many thanks for the reply - I will give that a go. Currently I have ports for the Tokina 10-17 FE and Nikon 105mm VR macro, I'm wanting to add to the lens list but port compatibility will play a part in the selection process to keep the travel weight down - I'm hoping to find one additional port that will allow me to run a wide and mid-range rectilinear, and I'm also looking for any other macro lenses that can be used with the 105mm port maybe with extensions.

  4. If you have a 60mm macro port you just need to add extension to use 105/105VR with same port. I just got the 10-17 & use it with the FP170 dome port. This port also works good with 12-24 zoom.

    In addition to the Nikkor 12-14, I use the Sigma 17-70 in the 170 dome port. I don't have the Ton 10-17 FE yet. As you say, it will work in this port. Do to the very close focus ability of the FE, I think it would better to use the smaller port.

    Does you need an extension ring on the 170 port to use the Nikkor 12-24, Sigma 17-70 or Tokina 10-17 FE?

    I use the 40 mm PE with the 170 dome port for both lenses. The Sig 17-70 vinettes at 17 mm with a 60 mm PE. 50 mm PE??? Using the flat port for the Nikkor 60 mm macro (100 mm diam.) and a 20 mm PE, the Sigma will work at 17 - 19 mm. This is on a Nexus D80 rig; YMMV!
