Im looking to buy a used Canon 5D housing with one light. My budget is 1000. I feel like this shouldn't be too hard to find because a lot of Canon users will probably be upgrading to the Mark II at this point and might be trying to get rid of their older 5D housing.
Anyways. The upcoming trips I have that will include diving are Indonesia, South Africa and Greece so if anyone has suggestions on where to dive, that would be awesome!

Probably a better bet will be in the classifieds section. Although if you are thinking 5d housing, with a port and a strobe for $1000 that might be a bit of a stretch.

There is one in the US on Ebay at the moment. It is on its second time round with no bidders. It is considerably more than your budget so you may be able to do a deal if it doesn't sell. I agree with Bill however, your budget is stretching it quite a bit. I just sold one in the UK and got more than your budget just for the base housing without ports or strobe.
I have a Subal housing for the 5D available and I can include one strobe. Drop me a line here by private message.

I have to agree, you are asking for a lot of camera for very little money...especially considering the trips you mention in your post.
I have a great set up 5D, Aquatica with ports, shade, everything you need...minus arobe arms and strobes.
I'll negotiate a bit but you are currently asking to pay 25% of my asking price.
Come back with a reasonable amount and we shall talk.

I am looking to sell my 5d Housing. I am moving away from the ocean and no longer need the unit. I also have the D200 Strobe and 2 ports (one for a 100mm macro lens and one for a 15mm fisheye lens). I was looking to sell the whole unit for $1600 if you are interest.
