  1. I was thinking of Cod Hole?

    Have not been there yet.

Mullaway had an amazing amount of life. And at one point we swam toward a cave and a dozen rays swam out, kind of like you would see in a movie.

  3. My vote for either the Yongala (Townsville), or Navy Pier (Exmouth/Ningaloo).

Amazing fishlife & diversity at either site! While you're at Ningaloo, if you're at the right season you'll be able to catch the whale sharks...

  4. Cod Hole was nice but I really enjoyed the diving in Sydney. Saw weedy sea dragons. I forget where the leafys are, but I want to go there next.

  5. If you're into sea dragons, there's:

    1) Weedies: NSW & Victoria - easily dived throughout both states, many pier dives (Portsea Pier & Flinders Pier in Victoria) which make seeing them quite easy

    2) Leafies: Predominantly in SA, but I know they are also endemic to WA - we went diving with a crew in South Australia to Rapid Bay Jetty & Victor Harbour (2 trips).. there's also a fella on Kangaroo Island who does trips to see them.

Great critters - also a very noteworthy dive experience for photographers!
