  2. Looks a little like it belongs in a Dr. Seuss cartoon. I like the second picture in the gallery as well.

Your galleries are very tastefully presented. Bravo!

  3. Karl,

Not much to critique here as it's a good shot. A couple of things:

That piece of rock off on the left has a strange soft focus to it. I'm not sure if it's from the dome or that it's out of DOF.

What did you focus on? I'm guessing you locked your focus near the foreground. Good! You have good sharpness almost all the way to the extreme foreground of the photo.

Lastly - wait for it. If you're lucky and wait a bit, sometimes you can get a diver (your buddy?) or another subject to swim up behind a braing coral for a cool composition. This depends on taste of course. Sometimes the shot is more "pure" without a diver there. The fish you got are nice.

I really like this shot of Karl's:

  4. I liked the picture and the second one fromk your gallery is amazing!

    I also liked your gallery.

  5. James, not sure where that fuzzy coral on the left side came from.........I would have thought that the DOF with the zoom out would have been OK from that distance..........I've never noticed soft edges before with that lens & port..........maybe F4.4 is the reason?
