  1. A friend of mine selling his Nexus D2x housing and 105mm port for $1200

and the camera body for $1400

Do you guys please advise me ,should I upgrade my D80 to D2x ?

Does it $2600 ok for this setup? :)

  3. I would be interested in history of camera & housing. Age, condition, # of shuttle actuations, any leaks or floods, etc. Would the features of the D2X be a real benefit u/w vs the D80? Nexus is a great housing & is probably a good buy at $1200.

  4. Thanks for the comments.I think I am going to sell my d80 and buy this housing port and camera.

38.000 actuations , cosmetic is good, d2x battery is in "0" new condition. Never leaked or flooded.

I only think its a huge body and huge housing. And I will also have to carry external flash for indoor photography.

  5. Hi,

I am using same housing & purchased in e-bay in similar price not too long ago.

D2X is good camera & Wetpixel member Espen won the CMAS world championship

in this year with same setup.

In my case, I purchased housing only & modified to take D3 & using it ( I do not see

much benefit to have d3 though as I already have d700 in d200 Nexus housing & only

advantage is to have dual memory card +better view finder I think).

maybe a few years later I can do the same upgrade :)

Do you think it is hard to adapt d2x from a d80 ?

All Nikon d-slrs has similarity & I think it will be easy to switch from d80

    to d2x.
