Lets say I have a certain wide angle lens with a diopter that is perfectly matched to a dome port. I now add a 1.4X Teleconverter to the system which is 20mm long. If I now add a 20mm extension ring to the system are my optics matched again?

I have Sigma 10mm FE and 10-20mm lenses which I use with my cropped sensor Canons. Want to try using them with fullframe 5D2 with 1.4 Teleconverter. My Teleconverter meausres about 19mm so just want to figure the correct extension to use.

Humm some cropped sensor Canons crop at 1.6x, others at 1.5x.
A 1.4xTC might not be enough, but I wait anxiously for your test results!
