I wonder if you anyone can tell me why the leak alarm would go off yet the whole thing is completely dry.
I have also changed the battery to see if that was the problem.
Anyone had this problem?

Many folks have commented on this. Sometimes there is a lot of humidity that can affect the circuit board itself. take out the battery and use a hair dryer to dry everything out and it should go away.

Have heard of this happening, never to me.
Until last week in LaPaz. An hour after the first dive the alarm started blinking. One drop of water on the inside of the dome. No apparent water anywhere else or near the alarm or it's circuitry.
Believe it was condensation from the extreme humidity and heat. No amount of drying or blowing air would help. Continued to blink all week. Had to spend the week with the battery out.
No one one the boat had a hairdryer.
Once back home spent an 8 hour session with a hairblower on low aimed at the housing. Leak alarm works perfectly normal now.
Humidity?
We have just had a Secam leak alarm going off here after a guest drapped a damp towel over the open housing.....

Not a way to endear yourself to your fellow divers. Did you make him/her burf behind the boat on the way back to the dock?

If you do a search - this has been covered a few times with the Subal.
Often it is the shrink wrap on the two pick-up pins - it seems to retain moisture.

"Happily", Steve, the camera owner and the towel draper were one and the same..... it was a nicely damp towel too. Left overnight in our camera room. You could hear the alarm chirping 50 yards away!
