Fiji shark dives

  1. I plan to dive the Solomons early next year and probably will have a several day stop-over in Fiji on my way home to Los Angeles.

I have never been to Beqa Lagoon. I am looking for recommendations/suggestions of possible shark diving opportunities in Fiji. All feedback is welcome!

Did you read my post and subsequent thread about going to Fiji right below this one? I am investigating this now am heading over there in a couple of weeks. Looks like the Shark Dives are one by one company (maybe 2), and dives czn be organized by any Resort you stay.

I'll be able to tell you more in October, but look at that other thread, and see what WetPixelers have suggested.

I would research the two main resorts in Pacific Harbor the Pearl and the Pacific Harbor Resort, the Beqa Lagoon Resort is also a short boat ride away on Beqa Island to see what would best fit your buget and preferances. All will recommend whichever Shark Operation they are affiliated with but you can request either or both.

The two operations are Beqa Adventure Divers or Aquatrek. We did both and were glad we did as the species of sharks was quite different. Overall I have to say the Beqa Adventure Divers was the better as they hand feed in a sancuary and the sharks were much bigger. Check Bob's post for more info I covered there.
