Hello, i have just installed a internal Heinrich Weikamp TTL converter in my Aquatica housing for the EOS 5D mkII with 2 Sea & Sea YS-110 and it works fine but there is one problem:
I want to disable the strobes to use the cameras exposure metering without strobes but as long as the TTL converter is connected the camera thinks there is a strobe (even when i turn of the strobes or put the TTL converter in manual mode) and the exposure metering don´t work correctly.
Anyone know if there is a way to disable the strobes in the menu of the 5D or anything else to do?
Thanks
Ola

Ola, in what way do you feel that the exposure is different with and without the flash? That can only be in the P mode (or green mode) right? In Av, Tv and M the exposure is done as when you don't have a flash attached. Or do you have different experience?

Tried the AV and TV modes yesterday and they work as you describe so that is what i was looking for, strange is that i tried them earlier and they didn´t work but maybe the cables were wrong.
P mode doesn´t work but thats no problem, thanks

Sounds like you got it sorted Ola. You'll also find in the menu an option to let the shutterspeed vary when you have a speedlite attached, or lock it at 1/200th. Obviously you don't want to lock it at 1/200th :-)
