  1. Not sure who's into surfing out there - but this is a great email I receive every week called the Monday Morning Wave from the Surfer's Path. This weeks photo is awesome.

    CAPTION:

In the words of Hawaii photo veteran, Hank: "June 14, 2009: Ala Moana, on Oahu's South Shore... around midday the swell jumped and pumped. This guy surfng his cat got the set of the day and rode the wave all the way into the harbor entrance (smooth sailing)."

  2. That guy's got some ba**s - or he's crazy :-)

Thanks for posting the pic. Pretty incredible.

  3. Wow, big ba**s I would say, glad he had room to get out after the surf! or is that another photo :)

  4. Hate to see what would happen to that mast if they took a tumble. Cool pic, a video clip would be even better.

Unlike the more regular monohull sailboat, once they "turn turtle" (flip over), they will not right themselves again. Things start to get messy when catamarans turtle and in this case really quickly too!

  6. Holy $%$!

    Thats crazy.

    I'm taking a stab that he's uber rich :-)

  7. I'm just a bit concerned for the surfers he might run into :)

Must be a terrifying sight to suddenly see coming over a wave :uwphotog:
