I was lucky enough to get to dive this one again this weekend, this time with the stills setup.
I was a little nervous as the depth of the wreck is 20-30 feet deeper than the rating for housing/dome port, but all seems to be intact for now!
This seaplane went down in the 70s with the loss of one life. I am not sure if the body was recovered but we definitely did not interfere with the wreck in any way at all!
The wreck split into three separate parts, the nose section (which is upside down and 40-50 feet off the wreck), the main
fuselage (standing upright) and the tail (which is on the sand next to the fuselage)

Engine and propeller (with paint still visible!)

The leading edge of the wing has disintegrated quite a lot

Plenty of paint still visible on the tail/aft end of the fuselage

This was a really nice dive. Vertical vis of 90+ feet and horizontal vis of at least 40-50 feet.
Temps were 52F on the bottom with a rather sharp thermocline through 57F up to mid 60s at 20 feet
