I'm now back from my first Red Sea trip with the Bluefin Pro/XR500 and I'm very satisfied. There is only one thing, where I need your help, because it's the first time I work with man WB:
Situation: Reef 40m deep, dives between 10am and 3pm, 20-30m visibility.
WB
- 0-10m WB works perfect.
- 10-16m: it depends (on what?) - best results with white slate direct in front of Fathom 90. Not understandable for me: if the slate would be farer away, more light could be reflected
- deeper that 16m: man. WB failes (symbol is not stopping to blink) but light should be sufficient. Tried everything: slate directly in front of port, farer away, use right angle to surface...
- starting at 25m I use my Sunray LEDs: WB works fine.
So I have a problem between 16-25m. How do you operate? Any advices?
Regards, Sascha
