Hi Folks,
while I've been waiting for my housing to arrive I've had plenty of time to practice topside. Being a bit of a bird nerd I've been focusing
on them quite a bit. Here's a selection of some of the better ones. I started of with the 55-200mm kit lens but recently sold that and picked up
a 70-300mm for some slightly better reach and superior IQ.
Our Local Magpie.
Welcome Swallows.
Rainbow Lorikeet.
These guys are as colourful as they are noisy.
Can't wait to get this camera UW and see what it can do there
Cheers,

Nice Jim; nice composition on that last one.
Birdy Num, Num....was that from 'The Party'?
I remember the scene where the chicken launches onto the ladies tiara......
I really like the shot of the Lorikeet. What a beautiful bird.
Mike
Gotta love Peter Sellers.
