Pics for Criticism

Here are a couple of pictures from a recent trip to the Red Sea. I would appreciate any criticism.

They were both shot using an Olympus 5050 in an Ikelite Housing with one Ds-125 strobe using a manual controller.

The pictures were taken on a liveaboard called Excel doing a deep South trip visiting Elphinstone, Daedulus reef and Rocky Island.

Yup I recognise the lighthouse. Its a hell of a climb up the stairs in the August Heat

I like the BSR & the Yellow margin moray. Crocodile strobe has illuminated to much foreground, needs tilting up so it looks like it would fire behind the fish.

Hope they have finished the paint job at the lighthouse now - It took 28 years since the last one!!!

Did you see the hammers? How many sharks on Rocky?

The picture of the Jack is Great!

didn't see any hammerheads all week. Others saw one or two. August just isn't a good time for sharks.

The best shark action was at elphinstone where bent willy was around and at St Johns where we saw maybe 10 grey reefs.

Great trip though and I will do it again but next time in June to see those sharks.

Let me know when you plan to go and I'll take you to see the schooling hammers at St. John.

I'm planning to charter the Royal Emperor or equiv. in May/June next year.
