KL Recomendations?

Any recommendations for places to stay and stuff to go see in KL ?

Have a dive trip planned for April and will be in KL for a couple of nights essentially to pick up onward flights and take a look around.

For food, you have to try some Durian from one of the street stalls, but you probably won't be able to take it back to your hotel. For restaurants, the Overseas Chinese restaurant is great. For cheap but wonderful and sometimes strange food, wander down Petaling (Petalung) street. Lots of hawker food there, much of it is terrific.

Ah Durian - kinda sticks in my mind from a previous trip to be fair!

Will try Petaling (Petalung) street.

Anyone got suggestions of places to stay ?
