Photos from La Paz and Big Sur

  1. Hi All,

I have been diving my brains out the last few months so I haven't been haunting the boards. I thought I would share some photos from two very different trips. The first was a week on the Don Jose liveaboard in the Sea of Cortez. The Don Jose is based out of La Paz. The second is from 4 days diving the Big Sur coast aboard the Vision dive boat. The Vision is harbored in Santa Barbara, but for this trip we departed from Morro Bay. Big Sur is rarely dived since the weather is often tricky. If you ever get a chance to do it I highly recommend it since it is such a beautiful and dramatic land/sea-scape.

La Paz photos can be found here http://www.flickr.com/photos/drsteve/sets/...222576756/show/ and Big Sur here http://www.flickr.com/photos/drsteve/sets/...312607963/show/

    Enjoy!

  2. Hi Steve,

Nice pics, I am sure you enjoyed your trips. Diving from La Paz is so much fun.

After seeing the picture of the pelican I wanted to show you this picture, I took from the other side of the arch at Los Islotes in 2007. I am glad the pelican is still there in the same spot :P

    Best Wishes

    Vincent

  3. Some things stay the same. It is definitely the same spot. One thing I really enjoyed about the trip was the huge schools of sardines. It was the first time I had seen schools that big and dense.
