  1. Well, I clipped the little purple'n'clear PT-10 to my BC and dragged my c3040 along with me on 14 of 18 dives in the Galapagos. This was my first time using digital underwater, and it was a real eyeopener. All that show strobe used internal strobe only... My keeper rate was a bit less than 10%, which is nearly twice my film keeper rate.

So, James, do you think there's any truth to the rumors that the S3 will be based on an F100 body??? Coz I can tell you, if it is, I'll be pre-ordering in a heartbeat.

Here's the gallery Comments etc welcome.

  2. Craig, nice group of pics especially considering you were using the internal strobe only. I liked the topside shots also.

    What's this about a S3?

  3. What's this about a S3?

Just trolling for James, I'm sure he has read the same rumors I have :)

BUT lets just say that a new Fuji dSLR body based on the F100 chassis/AF system, with one of Fuji's nice super-high dynamic range CCD's, would rapidly find a home at casa Ruaux. Or for that matter, a Nikon body that is essentially the same thing...

    Thanks for the comment.
