  1. Yes I'm new to the whole video set.Ive been shooting with a Canon P&S for the last 3 years and finally desided to switch to video. I've narrowed my field to eather the Sony XR-500 ,or the Canon HF S11. After reading most of the forums , it sounds like my choices are bleek seems like there are two many issues with the Sony ,and limited housing choices for the Canon. Can anyone give me some positive feedback on either of these camcorders.
