5D MK II Video

  1. Here's the first video with my new Canon 5D MK II. No color correction filter (on order) and edited with iMovie. All constructive criticism welcome.

    i am a bit surprise

    thought will have less deaph of flied

     

    what was your lens

    did you use full automatique mode and what was the f-stop

     

    It is hard to see in Vimeo, but all the suject was in good Focus

    did you throw away a lot of rush

    I used the Canon 16-35mm with +2 diopter at 16mm and most was in auto mode and some in manual practicing setting custom white balance. Not sure what the f-stop was...I viewed the screen and adjusted with the quick control dial until it looked correct.

  6. Way to go Mike! Pretty darn great for the first time in the water with the new rig. The grouper diver interaction sequence was worth the trip all by itself. That's a wow partner. How was the class/instruction for you? Did you feel like you learned a lot?

    Thanks Steve!

    Using the camera for video was a piece of cake, much more straight forward than I anticipated. Editing was the hard part...the instruction was well worth it!
