Just wanted to thank everyone on the forum for all the help I've received, direct and otherwise from reading your posts. I also wanted to thank Ike and his crew for all their help. We actually planned this trip 2 years ago, and I can't believe it's here already!
Hopefully everything will work with no mishaps. I always get anxious before a trip about possible equipment failures, flooding, etc.
Thanks again,
John
Have fun! And remember, your life and that of your dive buddy is worth more than your camera and/or "getting the shot."
Dive safe!
Cheers
James
Buddy? What buddy?
Just kidding.
I think he's diving w/ his wife, no? I hear they get pissed off when you ditch them...:-) I wouldn't know from personal experience though.
Cheers
James

Yes, they do. BUT, they get even more pissed off when you hunker down on the bottom for an hour waiting for a sail-fin blenny to pop his sail up. In situations like this they are inclined to just leave you.
:angryfire: Some buddy that makes them, doesn't it :angryfire:
John: Have a ball. You will discover that backrolling while holding your housing is just as scary as you think it is :freak:

Well, uh....hmmmm.... uh. Our agreement on this trip was - if you want to be my buddy, it's up to you to find me.
I only lost her once, I think.
Have a great time. Remember to crank up the shutter speed to 1/90 or 1/125 for the sea lions. I've got way too many blurry sea lions or half sea lions.
