  1. Hey Crew,

I'm sitting in my lovely new office. My business partner is a full time pro portrait photographer and uses whopper of a computer to edit her photos.

    The specs are

    8 core 2.67 ghz

    6 gig ram

I'm running photoshop in 64 bit mode and its near instant......

Anyone have something similar or better?

What are people using these days?

    Cheers

    Cal

  3. I've got a Code i7 920 (quad) overclocked to 3.8GHz (running on air, at core voltage 1.184V). Paired with 12gig of ram.

WD Raptor (10000RPM) as system disc, 2x1.5TB raid1 for media disc.

    Runs nice aswell.
